Jeff Graves
President
Jeff is a highly accomplished visionary leader with over 24 years of experience in operations, including special events management, business development, promotions, advertising and marketing. Jeff started Vision Event Management over 17 years ago. Jeff’s hard work and great team have built VEM to be one of the best Boutique Event Management companies in the county. Jeff is also co-owner of Mile 0 Events in Key West. Jeff has 3 beautiful girls and loves spending time with them skiing in the winter and boating in the summer.
Jennifer Hampton
Marketing & Sponsorship Specialist
Jennifer has worked for vision for over 2 years overseeing marketing, social media and sponsorship. She has over 20 years of experience in the marketing field and specializes in helping small businesses and non-profits grow. She graduated from the University of Evansville in 1998 with a degree in Advertising/Marketing. Jennifer enjoys exercising, being outside and spending time with her 3 kids.
Brandon Campbell
Event Experience Specialist
Brandon comes to Vision Event Management with a background in both running and events. Having ran collegiate Cross Country and Track & Field at the University or Southern Indiana and working for Life Time Fitness/Athlinks on their Endurance Events across the United States for registration and digital media. He is versed in both racing and what goes on behind the scenes. Brandon is excited to work with local events and be involved in the Indianapolis Running Community.
Tom Brake
Warehouse Manager
Tom grew up in Broad Ripple and currently resides in Avon, IN with his 3 kids and wife. After graduating from Bishop Chatard HS, he studied Fire Science and EMS, then went on to work many years for the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis as a camp and Sports Program Director, and has worked just about everywhere since. His event experience started with volunteering with Spartan Race and quickly grew into volunteering and working local and regional races wherever possible. He started with VEM in 2023 and splits time between the warehouse and logistics and day of event set up and behind-the-scenes fun! Though he spends more time working events than participating in them lately, it's a great way to scratch that itch and stay active and enjoy the experiences!
Tanika Jackson
Accountant
Tanika is the accountant at Vision Event Management helping staff with all things financial and reporting. She specializes in account receivable, accounts payable, budgeting and financial statement preparation. She also assists with payroll and tax support.
Willy Graves
Event Crew
Wilson (Willy) Graves. Willy has been part of the crew for 11 years. He works hard at all the events. He is especially great at being in the lead vehicle during the races to make sure all participants follow the course safely. Willy always has a cheerful attitude and helps keep the spirits high.
Mark Adler
Event Crew
Mark has known Jeff for over 17 years going back to their days of working together at the 500 Festival where Mark was the Manager of Volunteer Resources and then an Event Manager for the many 500 Festival events.In addition to his day job at Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, he also participates at most events on the VEM calendar in a variety of roles. As is the norm with most events you just fulfill the role needed and then jump in wherever else for the overall success of the event.
Vince Auten
Event Crew
Vince worked in the insurance industry for 33 years and was offered early retirement. He is the coach and owner of Invinceable Coaching. Vince’s experiences with VEM include starting line, beer captain, set up, and 5K lead bike. In his spare time, Vince enjoys running, microbrew beers, watching sports, and spending time with his family.
Tim Bimmerlee
Event Crew
A native of Chicago, Tim began his event career in high school working for Andy Frain Services. His first event involved helping to manage the Mayor's Cup soccer tournament in Chicago. His first race was the 1997 Chicago Marathon, helping to build and strike the start line. Tim eventually took a position with the City of Chicago, helping event planners secure permits for races and walks in Chicago. This is where VEM came into his life, altering it forever! He first lent a hand helping with the Chicago Half Marathon, insuring Lake Shore Drive and 31st street ran smoothly operationally. Tim has leant his expertise in a variety of VEM produced races in Illinois and Wisconsin. While not the biggest OSU fan, Brutus seemed appropriate as Tim's wife Kirstine played collegiately at OSU. Tim and his wife are the proud parents of Jaxen and Tim and his family currently reside in Skokie, Illinois. He is a big Cubs fan, has been to 23 straight Indy 500's and currently works at a grade school in Mt. Prospect.
Alex Brafford
Event Crew
Alex is a Senior at Purdue University, Studying Construction Engineering and Management. On campus he served as president of his fraternity, is involved in intramural sports and a member of the Construction Engineering honor society Beta Tau. His roles at events include course set up and cleanup. In his free time, he likes to spend time with friends and going to Purdue football and basketball games.
Cameron Chenault
Event Crew
Cameron, originally from New Berlin, WI, has been with Vision since Dec of 2013 after volunteering at the Brewers Mini Marathon in 2012. Cameron graduated from Winona State University with a BS in Athletic Training and later Northern Illinois University with an MS in Sport Management. He currently serves the City of Madison as a Firefighter/Paramedic. In addition, Cameron works a part time job delivering in-home medical equipment and also helps run the experiential learning portion of the Fast Track Academy for Northwestern Mutual Financial Advisers. Cameron enjoys entertaining with family and friends and playing cards, board and video games, and watching movies.
Cayce Chenault
Event Crew
Cayce has been working with Vision at their Wisconsin events for the last 10 years. Cayce is a quality driven sales, communication, and marketing executive from the greater Milwaukee area, with over 30 years of extensive experience in building and maintaining client relationships. Cayce has a proven track record as a self motivator with compelling leadership skills. Cayce has spent the majority of his career selling in the wholesale beer industry within the MillerCoors distribution network. He also has a diverse background in community relations within the Milwaukee metro area.
Zach Campton
Event Crew
Zach is originally from Shelbyville, IN and currently resides in Indianapolis. He went to school at The University of Southern Indiana where he got involved with the sport/entertainment and events world. From there he has been part of the 500 Festival and got his start, full time, here at VEM in the events industry. He is happy to stay involved and still gets excitement of executing great events with VEM. In his free time you can find Zach outside and staying active; whether that is golf, tennis, biking, being by the pool or at the lake. Though if that is not an option, he will most likely be working out, visiting family and friends, or bingeing Netflix.
Reggie Flesvig
Event Crew
Reggie works in the field of education as a building administrator in Bremen, IN. He was an English and Journalism teacher for 21 years with coaching duties in cross country, track & field, basketball, and football. Reggie is one of the race director’s for Kent’s Run 5K and his experiences with VEM include starting line, finish line, course management, and runner services. In his spare time, Reggie enjoys traveling, kayaking, and spending time with his family.
Angie Frazier
Event Crew
Angie is a Business Development Director for American Structurepoint, Inc. She acts as a liaison between the company’s technical professionals and designers and all local governments and local public service providers. Angie founded Westfield Running Club in 2015 and has coached multiple seasons for Girls on the Run Central Indiana, as well as serving on the board for 6 years and is currently a Lululemon Run Ambassador. Angie's experiences with VEM include starting line, finish line, course management, and volunteer and runner services. In her spare time, Angie enjoys traveling, reading, trail running, hiking, and time with friends and family.
Jim Furuya
Event Crew
Jim has been an event carny for over 17 years working festivals, marathons, triathlons and bike rides. Jim worked as an Event Manager for the 500 Festival with Jeff, Chad and Mark, been on the executive committee with the Indianapolis Race for the Cure for many years, and volunteered for numerous organizations in the Indianapolis area. In a past life, he was an electrical engineer. He now runs his own business, EventFuel LLC, managing race expos around the country. At events you will see him moving around on two perfectly good legs, thank you very much, having lost them only in the minds of a couple other carnies at some long forgotten event. Carnies, gotta love em.
Graci Graves
Event Crew
Graci is a Junior studying Entrepreneurship and Marketing at Bradley University. At Bradley she is a tour guide and is involved in many clubs and plays intramural volleyball. Her roles at events include packet-pick up and runner services. In her free time she likes to water and snow ski as well as spend time outside with friends and family.
Madison Graves
Event Crew
Madison is a senior at Purdue University studying Human Development and Family Science with a concentration in Child Development. On campus she is the current President of A Kid Again- Purdue Chapter and recent intern for A Kid Again- Indiana Chapter. On event days, Madison serves as packet pick-up logistics coordinator and runner services volunteer coordinator, in addition to being a part of the set-up and clean-up crew. Madison loves spending her time at the lake and hanging out with her friends.
Kat Hawkins
Event Crew
Kat is a graduate of The University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has worked in Television and Event Production since 1999. Formerly a Field Producer for the National news, she has been able to combine her love of event coordinating with her passion of fitness! Kat is also an avid Marathon runner, triathlete and certified fitness instructor.
David Pittman
Event Crew
David is approaching 50 years of running! He has retired from marathoning, but still gets in as many 5Ks and 10Ks as he can fit in a year. When he's not running, he can often be found riding his ElliptiGO or playing pickleball. In his day job, David is a marketing director for an Indianapolis-based software company.
Gregg Scott
Event Crew
Greg has worked in Law Enforcement in Central Indiana for over 25 years and retired from the Military after 27 years of service in over 40 countries. Former 5K, 10K, trail and adventure race participant. Greg has worked with VEM in multiple capacities to include Light the Night events. In Greg’s spare time he travels the country on his motorcycle and keeps his 2 German Shepherds company.
Natalie Whisker
Event Crew
Natalie has been a part of VEM since the beginning. She loves being a part of this framily! She's glad to help anywhere she can – from Command to mascot (gobble gobble)! Little Nat graduated from IUPUI in 2008 with her BS in Physical Education. After living in Indy for 16 years, she's glad to be back in her hometown of Rensselaer, IN. Natalie works for Edward Jones as a licensed RBA. In her spare time, she loves to play and watch any sport. Volleyball is her favorite, but has picked up playing softball and golf with her husband Jake. She is on various boards and loves to give back to her community. She is the board VP and chairs the Purse Bingo fundraiser for Junior Achievement serving Rensselaer. Nat and Jake have 2 dogs – heelers named Houlihan and Hawkeye that keep them on their toes!
